SUMMARY:Creating Confidence with Content
DESCRIPTION:Confidence isn’t something that we’re all born with. And even those who appear to have it\, sometimes feel fear or doubt. It’s only natural! But we can help foster our confidence through how we present ourselves to the world and what we choose to share. Whether it’s how we choose to dress or how we choose to act or what we stand for. But how do we consciously (or unconsciously) portray this? \nIn this presentation we’ll be exploring: \nHow you can show up in the world by using the power of content to increase your confidence \nWhat to share and how to share it so it doesn’t feel ‘tacky’ \n\nAbout Mel\nMel Daniels is a Content Strategist and Coach who loves to understand ‘why’. Even past her toddler years\, she always asked why. She wanted to understand why things worked like they did\, why people acted a certain way and why she was the only one who loved peanut butter and sultana sandwiches. \nHer curiosity has lead her on an interesting life journey from academic achiever to corporate leader\, mum extraordinaire and now business owner. \nMel’s purpose is to teach and empower women who want more from their business\, on how to use content in a genuine way. She gives them the confidence they need to become more visible\, seen as the expert that they are and inspired to take their business to the next level.

\nIn this presentation we’ll be exploring: \nHow you can show up in the world by using the power of content to increase your confidence \nWhat to share and how to share it so it doesn’t feel ‘tacky’ \n \nAbout Mel\nMel Daniels is a Content Strategist and Coach who loves to understand ‘why’. \n

SUMMARY:Overcoming Hurdles
DESCRIPTION:An inspirational journey of resilience and reinvention\nJana Pittman’s story is a roller coaster of triumph\, defeat\, failure and success. As an Olympian\, mother\, author\, speaker and doctor\, her story embraces the peaks and troughs that helped shape her career and build her into who she is today. \n  \nTwo-time World Champion and four-time Commonwealth Champion in the 400m hurdles\, Jana personifies resilience and determination and is recognised as one of Australia’s greatest female athletes. When continued injuries hampering her athletic career could have signalled retirement\, she swapped the track for the ice. Jana joined the Australian Women’s bobsled team\, to become the first woman to represent Australia in both a Summer and Winter Olympic games. \nOff the track\, Jana this month began work as a doctor at Blacktown Hospital\, with her eyes set on the goal of practicing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. With her keen interest in women’s health\, Jana is an ambassador for the ‘Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation’\, ‘Save the Box (RANZGOG)’ and ‘Targeting Cancer’. Jana is also proud mum to Cornelis and little sisters\, Emily and Jemima. \nJana says…. \n“What an incredible journey life has taken me on. I have failed over and over again\, but I believe 100 per cent\, that if you keep battling on\, it will happen. If one door shuts prematurely\, then another door will open and an even greater future will unfold. Maybe my next challenge will beat me too\, but I will just get back up again and keep on fighting.” \nJoin us on Tuesday\, 3 March 2020 for an unforgettable and inspirational morning with Jana. \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Lead to Train\, Retain and Succeed
DESCRIPTION:Lead to Train\, Retain and Succeed\n \nIn a world where everything is constantly changing\, businesses need to respond quickly to succeed. When it comes to leadership – what used to work before\, simply isn’t working now and certainly won’t work in the future. \nClare will share insights on how adapting your leadership style will get the right people\, right teams and right outcomes for you and your business. \n  \n\nAbout Clare\n \n \nClare McCabe is the founder of MacPac HR\, a Human Resources company that helps business owners\, leaders\, managers and staff navigate the many\, and often hidden\, challenges of the people side of business. \nBefore devoting herself to working fulltime at MacPac HR over 10 years ago\, Clare was working as General Manager\, Americas for an international award-winning food packaging company. It was this role that saw Clare combine her Operational Management experience with her love of working in the HR field and with people – and working with large clients such as Pepsi-Co throughout North and South America. \nClare has a strong passion for working with women in continuing to develop their knowledge and skills\, which led to her developing the Women in Leadership program that has been rolled out across NSW and was successfully championed by local council in 2018 and 2019 meaning more women than ever are gaining exposure to the program. \nIn addition to her continued and challenging role as a HR Consultant\, Clare also has a passion for sport\, which has seen her achieve the highest possible recognition as an International Netball Umpire in 2003. This has led her to officiate at the Commonwealth Games\, World Championships and many Test Series around the world as well as domestically in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy and Trans-Tasman competitions. \nIf this wasn’t enough\, Clare also volunteers her time and assists community groups such as Meals on Wheels where she is Vice President of her local group – as well as recently becoming President of Mens Netball NSW. \n
