Harnessing the opportunity and delivering on the community’s needs and aspirations is the role of Campbelltown City Council.  Drawing on her (almost) 30 years of local government experience\, Lindy Deitz will share her insights on what it means to be a ‘public servant’\, how the organisation is set to support the growing community and ensure that Campbelltown is liveable\, sustainable and resilient into the future. \nAbout Lindy \nGeneral Manager\, Campbelltown City Council  \nLindy Deitz brings close to 30 years of Local Government experience to her role as General Manager of Campbelltown City Council\, where she leads the transitional phase of one of the largest and oldest councils in the state into a transformational powerhouse delivering innovative change for its communities. \nLindy is focused on delivering the services and facilities that the community needs and is a caring advocate for the wider southwest Sydney region. \nShe continually champions the important role Campbelltown and the south west play in shaping Sydney’s future and works tirelessly with all levels of government\, private industry and community organisations to ensure that Campbelltown City gains the support it needs to embark on its evolution into a bustling metropolis at the southern gateway to the South West Growth Corridor. \n
